  • No – we have an hourly and daily rate so you can choose whichever suits your needs.

  • No – you just pay at the start of the month for the month ahead.

  • We accept all childcare vouchers and we are registered for tax free childcare payments. Parents can also choose to pay by bank transfer or standing order.

  • Yes – we do two weeks of settling in (free of charge). They will come into The Nursery for an hour to begin with which will gradually build up over the two weeks.

  • No – In The Babies you can let the staff know what routine your child follows at home and we follow that. As your little one grows and their routine changes, we change with them.

  • We have a separate cot room with full sized cots for The Babies. Parents provide a sheet and blanket which is stored in the child’s individual basket and sent home each week to be laundered. When the children are older they sleep on little beds or snooze mats and we can cater for naps right up until they start school.

  • Nappies are changed at least every three hours but if the child’s nappy is soiled or noticeably wet it is changed immediately. Parents provide nappies, wipes and any cream the child needs. We do not require children to be potty trained by a certain age but when you decide to start the process the staff have had lots of experience and if possible will follow the methods you are using at home.

  • We use an online system – Famly. This allows parents to login and and see real-time updates on what their child has been doing as well as photographs and comments from the staff about their activities. We also send out a monthly newsletter to communicate any information or updates to parents and of course, our office door is always open if you would like to have a chat.

  • Yes – we are currently doing 5 days for the price of 4 for all children from The Babies to The Big Kids!

    We also offer a 44 week contract for those who do not need care over July and August which reduces your bill but guarantees their place in September.

    If you have more than one child you will get a 10% discount for the second, third etc. child.

  • No – Catherine Harris (a teacher) opened The Nursery in 2001. Her daughter, Anna Moore (a Children’s Nurse) is the manager and she is assisted by a wonderful team of staff!
